Expertly Crafted｜ Other Products ｜Invisibl Skratch Piklz: The 13th Floor (Baby Blue Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 2LP

First ever studio album from the scratch gods! Three legendary turntablists, Q-Bert, D-Styles, and Shortkut, reunite after 16 years to bring you The 13th Floor - and you best believe it sounds fresh as hell. As the Invisibl Skratch Piklz, the Bay Area DJ trio are arguably largely responsible for the turntablist/scratching renaissance of the 90's/early 00's - and the skills cannot be denied as they create some of the illest turntablist music in recent memory. Recorded using just three DJ mixers and three turntables, the trio showcase their innovative talents in pure turntablist form with minimal effects and mistakes left in (aka the realness). It is true what the label says, "This is the perfect embodiment of the iconic ISP sound." We've come along way since the Klamz Uv Deth routine, but Q-Bert is still the mad genius of tech scratching, D remains the phunkiest phraser, and Short stays the cleanest on the drum cut - this long-overdue album is the proof! Limited blue vinyl. Recommended.
