Our plants are grown outdoors in Sydney with no additional misting other than a regular water. Temperature: in an ideal situation these ferns thrive in warm temperatures, ideally between 10-30°C). Our plants are growing outdoors and tolerating our much cooler winters and much hotter summers than this recommended temperature range.  Soil: Drynaria prefers a well-draining medium. A mix of orchid bark, sphagnum moss, and perlite works well. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a piece of wood or bark, provided it receives regular watering and humidity.
Fertiliser: We feed our plants regularly through spring and summer with a rock mineral based fertiliser Garden Delight.
Our plants available for sale are young divisions growing strongly. We currently have them available in 200mm hanging baskets. They have not yet produced the shorter Oakleaf fronds but will do so over time.
