Taylor Ben Harper Gold Label 512eSpecial Edition Acoustic Electric

Refined Gold Label voice with artist-driven detail, seasoned warmth, and exceptional stage presence.

The Taylor Ben Harper Gold Label 512e Special Edition Acoustic Electric was designed with the GRAMMY-winning roots music icon to deliver a richly expressive playing experience with a musical personality all its own. Built on Taylor’s Gold Label platform, this custom Grand Concert pairs warm mahogany depth with the clarity and maturity of a torrefied Sitka spruce top, resulting in an instrument that feels intimate, responsive, and deeply rewarding for serious players.
Seasoned tone with articulate depth
A torrefied Sitka spruce top brings clarity, balance, and a played-in warmth to the voice, while mahogany back and sides contribute woody focus, strong midrange presence, and a smooth, controlled low end. Combined with Taylor’s Fanned V-Class bracing, this Special Edition offers a lively, expressive response that suits nuanced fingerstyle work, vocal accompaniment, and dynamic acoustic performance.
Custom details with a refined feel
The Grand Concert body shape keeps the playing experience comfortable and inviting, while the mahogany neck with Taylor’s Action Control design helps deliver a smooth, confident feel across the fingerboard. A Honduran rosewood fretboard and headstock overlay, cream pickguard, bone bridge pins, and polished bronze Taylor mini tuners add a distinctive visual and tactile character that sets this artist-designed model apart.
Stage-ready performance with premium appointments
Equipped with Taylor’s Claria pickup system, the Ben Harper Gold Label 512e is ready to bring its natural acoustic voice to the stage with clarity and balance. A gloss body finish, satin neck, custom interior label, and Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Case complete a package that feels purpose-built for players who want premium craftsmanship, artist-inspired style, and dependable professional performance.
Why choose the Taylor Ben Harper Gold Label 512e Special Edition
